Si tratta di un contributo innovativo nell’ambito degli studi sulle migrazioni, in quanto orientato ad esplorare le aspettative e le progettualità dei migranti. Sul piano metodologico, inoltre, è degno di nota il tentativo di realizzare delle interviste in profondità agli stessi stranieri, con tutte le difficoltà di carattere linguistico ed interpretativo.

The work represents quite an innovative contribution in the field of migration studies, as it is aimed at exploring migrants’ life-projects and expectations. From the methodological point of view, it is worth noting the attempt to realize in-depth interviews to foreign workers, with all the difficulties connected to language and to the interpretation work.
